Opuzu is a town in South Dalmatia, located in the valley of the Neretva river between Metković and Ploče. The center of the old part of the city is the classic Roman forum - the square, with the parish church of St. Stjepan. It was built on the site of a former chapel and small church that were destroyed in a fire.
