Sovinjak is a settlement in Istria, a town settlement of Buzeta. It is known for the production of mushrooms and for the various monuments that are located in this area.
Tradition says that the Roman empress Livia Drusilla ordered and drank exclusively Pucinum wine from Sovinjak, hence its fame. Sovinjak ist eine Siedlung in Istrien, eine Stadtsiedlung von Buzeta. Es ist für die Pilzproduktion und die verschiedenen Denkmäler bekannt, die sich in dieser Gegend befinden.
Der Überlieferung nach bestellte und trank die römische Kaiserin Livia Drusilla ausschließlich Pucinum-Wein aus Sovinjak, daher sein Ruhm. Neben der Weinproduktion ist Sovinjak auch für die Produktion des „flüssigen Goldes" höchster Qualität bekannt – Olivenöl. Jedes Jahr Anfang Oktober findet in dieser kleinen Stadt Bela nedeja statt, ein Volksfest, bei dem Weine und Schaumweine verkostet werden können.
